Here is a vid of Kasabian's photo shoot for NME - an incredible mise en scene I'm sure you will agree. Look at the amount of detail packed in. You will also see how many different photos are taken - your cover stars will also be occupying a double page spread and your research should tell you that magazines do not use the same photo as the covershot. However, it is usually related, normally the pics used in the spread will come from the same shoot and will follow the same theme. Consider different poses, different band members being the focus, maybe the use of different props. Like Serge sitting with a bunny in front of him, clutching a pocket watch. Think outside the box, be creative and imaginative. Do not settle for average. Have fun!
